Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

As a hospital-based educational setting, our purpose is to ensure that every young person from Kindergarten through to Year 12 is provided high-quality, personalised learning that maintains connection to their home school while supporting their wellbeing in a unique and changing environment. Our school delivers a broad range of subjects and learning experiences tailored to student needs, ensuring that learning remains meaningful, engaging and aligned with curriculum expectations. Through close collaboration with home schools, families and medical teams, we work to support transition both into and out of the hospital setting. These partnerships are central to helping students feel supported and confident as they continue their educational journey.  Our school values of Connect, Learn, and Empower guide our practice each day.

RNSHS is committed to providing an inclusive and equitable educational environment in which every student is valued and encouraged to maintain their pursuit of excellence and personal achievement. Through this commitment, we uphold a learning environment where all students can progress with dignity, purpose and the support they need to succeed.
